North-West Development Commission Leadership Attends Kebbi Empowerment Program,
The Managing Director/CEO of the North-West Development Commission, Prof. Shehu Abdullahi Ma’aji, accompanied by other distinguished board members, participated in a significant empowerment initiative organized by Hon. Aminu Suleiman, a fellow board member and the Director-General of the Tinubu Support Organization. The event, held in Kebbi State on March 9, 2025, aimed to uplift and support local communities through various developmental programs and initiatives.
Following the successful empowerment program, the delegation traveled to Sokoto State for a strategic visit to the Rahamaniyya Fertilizer Plant. During the visit, the team conducted a thorough inspection of the facility, engaged in productive discussions with the plant’s management team, and explored potential avenues for future collaboration and partnerships to enhance agricultural productivity and economic growth in the region.
Later in the day, the team paid a courtesy visit to Alhaji Zayyanu Musa Bashar, the Managing Director of Zamson Global Resources and a respected statesman and business mogul in Sokoto, at his residence. The visit provided an opportunity to exchange ideas on regional development, strengthen ties, and seek the statesman’s counsel on fostering sustainable growth and unity in the Northwest region.
The day’s activities emphasizes the commission’s commitment to grassroots empowerment, industrial development, and strategic partnerships for the advancement of the region.
